Hand wash in cold water with a gentle, cashmere-specific detergent, then lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight or heat. Avoid wringing or hanging, as this can stretch the fibers. Store folded rather than on hangers to help pieces keep their shape.

Some pilling is natural, especially in areas with friction like underarms or cuffs. It doesn't mean poor quality ,a cashmere comb or fabric shaver removes pills easily and won't damage the fibres.

Cashmere goats produce a very limited amount of usable fiber each year, and the raw material must be carefully hand-combed and processed. That scarcity, combined with the labor-intensive sourcing, is what drives the premium.
